HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PET ROCK
All most pet rocks need is a warm bed of shredded paper, hay, sand or anything else warm. All pet rocks should have access to clean water throughout the day. Pet rocks should be given a bath monthly in clean water.
A small home should be provided for your pet rock with a shelter to hide in, a bed and food or water. Pet rocks can be trained although it is difficult but all pet rocks should be house trained. Pet rocks will benefit from a trip or walk at least once or twice a week to stop him/her becoming restless and eating the furniture. Most rocks are solitary creatures but many are wild party rocks and should be treated with a firm hand but should be allowed to occasionally have friends over for sleepovers
MY PET ROCK IS ILL!
Most pet rocks become ill in their lifetime so All-purpose rock oil is a must. It treats all kind of rock illnesses from the common cold to over-sweating. A comfortable bed and rock oil is all they usually need to return to full health.
RECIPE FOR ROCK OIL
Collect orange and pineapple juice, a pansy and water together. Dilute the juice with water and mix well. Put the mixture into a container of bottle cap and float the pansy on top. Leave the mixture in the rock's home and let him drink it at leisure*, if this does not seem to work add feta cheese to the mixture.
*Leave the mixture for an hour before taking it away, rocks will only drink tiny sips so it will not look different. If it has worked the rock should be back to normal. To prevent waste, this mixture should be made in a very small container or feeding bowl.
